7 Cosmic Mysteries That Challenge Scientists’ Conscience
The Cosmic mysteries that challenge the capabilities of modern science are a mystery that have puzzled mankind from the dawn of civilization. It is amazing that even with all of our modern scientific technology we still cannot get a grip on how the universe works and who or what created it. These scientific puzzles are the result of unanswered questions involving space, time, astronomy, cosmology, and quantum mechanics. A great example of a cosmic mystery is the Grand Canyon.
Some think that the Grand Canyon was created in a single day. This is not only unbelievable but also very hard to believe given that our technology has not been able to measure such a massive distance. There is so much scientific proof that we do know the age of the earth, the solar system, the moon, and the stars. We know very little about the super dense gas clouds that existed at the time of the formation of the universe and the dark matter which accounts for the visible universe.
There are many other astronomical mysteries that challenge our ability to solve them. For example, there is a satellite called orbiting around the black hole at the center of the universe. Many believe this to be a possible evidence of intelligent life. Yet there is no way to prove this either.
Another cosmic enigma is the shape and speed of the universe. The laws of physics state that the speed of light must be constant. That is to say, it cannot go faster than the speed of its own travel. Yet this seems to be the only Cosmic mystery that scientists are not able to solve.
In addition to these Cosmic mysteries there are others that are not quite so obvious. For example, we know that the sun goes through a cycle of explosions known as explosions. Many scientists question why this occurs. One suggestion is that the explosions heat up outer space so much that it becomes very hot, similar to the surface of the sun. Yet another suggestion is that this heat makes matter less dense, much like water. Either way, both theories have strong evidence to support them.
Science has produced a great many enigmas of their own
They come in all shapes, sizes and degrees of complexity, from simple gases and molecules, to the cosmos and our own solar system. The list is endless. Every day new challenges to science arise.
If you want to get your hands dirty with science, try investigating one of the many enigmas that challenge the validity of scientific knowledge. Maybe you will be astounded at how much research is done in a given day on all sorts of enigmas. If nothing else, you might learn something about the subject! And if you do find out something interesting, that will be the thrill of a lifetime!
The bottom line is that there is a lot of challenge involved in doing science. Nature has a way of fooling us into thinking that the problem is easy. The real challenge lies in figuring out what the real problems are. This is what interests most people, because solving problems requires creativity, skill and ingenuity, as well as an openness to change. It’s what makes these enigmas fascinating to study.
Cosmic physics may very well hold the key to answering some of these enigmas
Cosmologists have been debating the big question for decades. The Standard Model (the current best theory for understanding how the universe and nature works) is not a guarantee that the challenge can be solved. If it can’t, then we may need to look elsewhere for answers. But there is plenty of room to continue studying and testing.
Many scientists have gone on record saying that the big challenge is to find evidence for the existence of God. With so many mysteries in the world, it is no small wonder that some people are ready to venture into the unknown. There are even communities online where people debate topics ranging from Flat Earth Theory to the Search For Intelligent Life.
Some of these cosmic challenges have been addressed by Hollywood movies like Star Wars and The Secret, but there is a wealth of literature out there on the topic. You can start by reading up on the subject. The most accessible books are those written by famous scientists. If you are looking for something a little more in-depth, try Aquarius Rising. It is written by John C. Maxwell, an engineer and cosmologist who made his living as a satellite navigator during the nineteen seventies. He has now published a seven hundred and twenty page book that answers many questions that have plagued mankind since the dawn of civilization.
